Story:

There were two brothers Damarri and Gulliyulla, who in the dreamtime were associated with the seasons, the moity system, the lore, the wet rain season and hot weather.

On the way travelling down from the mountains along the Barron River, Damarri saw a bird flying and dropping the shells on the rock, looking for food inside the broken shell. The nautilus shell were also used for bartering for boomerangs and spears with the tribes along the Barron River.
